Day 9: Morbier

Today's cheese continues to grow on me. It was a bit of a gamble at a cheese store which I had never previously visited, but when the cheesemonger tells you something is excellent, it's worth a shot. He was absolutely correct. This morbier was fantastic!

Day 7: Reblochon

There is little about France’s alpine region, particularly the departments of Savoie and Haut Savoie, that isn’t stunning. The area boasts some marvelous cheese (including five AOPs), like my cheese for the day, Reblochon.

Day 4: Comté

Comté is one of the cheeses which, like Camembert, inspires religious discussions about at which point in its affinage it should be consumed. Whatever your point of view, it is one of France's great cheeses.
